As impressive as the new Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses appear to be, the accompany Meta View app does a terrible job of making montages from your videos.

The Meta View app video montages initially seem good, but upon closer inspection the resolution is smaller than they should be. While the Ray-Bans output at various resolutions, the portrait Meta View videos only reach miserly pixel dimensions of 720 x 1280 which can be as much as half the original size. Thankfully I've discovered a method to achieve optimal results, and you don't even need to leave your smartphone screen to do the same.

Insta360 App Insta360 App
Create montages with your exported video clips using Insta360's app instead, available for both iOS and Android. This app not only offers higher quality videos with resolution options up to 2160 x 3840 but also provides a bitrate slider and a more comprehensive editing suite, featuring transitions and playback speed adjustments.

I'm using my Meta Ray Bans for trail condition reports. If you'd like to see examples of 2160 x 3840 videos created using the Insta360 app and uploaded to YouTube, then you can find some of mine here.
